Tsidziki with Yoghurt

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 2 cups yoghurt
  • 2-3 cucumbers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5-6 sprigs of dill
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 7 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 50g ground walnuts

Preparation:

  1. Put the yoghurt in cheesecloth and let it drain.
  2. Dice the cucumbers into very small cubes, crush the garlic and chop the dill. Put the mixture in a bowl, add the salt and put in the yoghurt. Pour the cooking oil and mix it all together.
  3. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for an hour, then serve on a plate by placing 3 scoops in each plate using an ice cream spoon. Sprinkle the ground walnuts on top and garnish with the dill.
